Need a place to host your event? We have the perfect space to host your next event.
Nestled on Commercial Street since 2007, Andy's Old Port Pub has become a beloved haunt for locals, fishermen, music lovers, soccer fanatics, and some of the finest chefs and hospitality workers in this great foodie city – in a word, we’re “eclectic”. If a public house can be measured by its public, we’re a truly fortunate pub – and we welcome you to share in our good fortune!
For a casual experience, Andy’s Old Port Pub has some of the best food and drinks in the Old Port. Geographically blessed to be in this craft beer city, we maintain 18 rotating draft lines, committed exclusively to local craft offerings - plus Guinness every day... because it’s Guinness! You’ll want to be certain to try the food, too. Our Brisket Taco was the recent winner (April 2024) of the best taco in Portland and our seafood is fresh and local. Haddock, clams, and scallops are all purchased on the same wharf where we are located, and our lobster is exclusively sourced from the Gulf of Maine.
Meanwhile, at the core of our philosophy, we buy our ingredients and prepare our food in small quantities to ensure that the last bite is always as good as the first. Andy’s menu includes the freshest of fish & chips, one of the best burgers in town, unique pub creations, and pizza that rivals New York’s finest. Special dietary needs? Our staff does everything they can to accommodate special orders.
Aside from its warmly lit and historic bar and dining area, Andy's offers a cozy backroom where patrons can unwind, play darts, shoot some pool, and indulge in arcade games. Heads-up though, you might not be the only one vying for a game of pool - the lingering presence of a ghost adds an extra layer of intrigue. We’ve been told that her name is Betsy and both staff and customers (including some very excited foodie tours!) have reported eerie experiences, contributing to the pub's mystique. Haunted tales aside, Andy's keeps the fun going with live music performances five nights a week. Andy's Old Port Pub promises an unforgettable experience for all who venture through its hidden door.
Speaking of our Hidden Door at 94, we can be a tricky little Pub to find. Tucked in between Gilbert’s Chowder House and the Casco Variety Store, our main entry is five steps above street level and not visible from the sidewalk. Visitors, determined enough to find their way to us – always get a warm welcome and an authentic taste of Portland’s Old Port neighborhood, live music every Tuesday – Saturday night, house-made pub fare, and local beers. Yup, Andy’s Old Port Pub might just be the perfect gathering place.
Stop in. Be Happy.
